On March 9th, 2010, SMAC hosted a General Membership Meeting. Linda Watson opened the meeting with a presentation about Autism Spectrum Disorders and its prevalence in our region. Becky Fredericks followed with information about SMAC’s activities in 2009. Chairperson, Megan Weerts discussed the various SMAC committees and how members can become involved. Committees include: Search and Rescue Technology, Fundraising, Public Relations, WALKdo event planning. Membership cards were distributed to those in attendance.
